3 Girl Scouts and an adult Girl Scout leader killed by a 21-year-old driver


Colten Treu, 21, was driving a truck near Lake Hallie, in Wisconsin when he veered out of the road hitting and killing a group of Girl Scouts. 3 girl scouts ages 9-10, and a Girl Scout leader, age 32 died, while 1 girl remains in critical condition.

Treu had originally fled the scene, hid his truck in his home and went out to party with friends. However, he later turned himself in to the local police department. He is currently being held under a $250,000 bail. Colten Treu has a history of substance abuse.

The victims were identified as Jayna S. Kelley, 9, Autumn A. Helgeson, 10, Haylee J. Hickle, 10, and Sara Jo Schneider, 32. This is a developing story…
