Peen State Teen Murdered in Fraternity Hazing Treated Like Roadkill,’ Parents Say

The parents of Penn State University student Timothy Piazza, say their son was "treated like roadkill."

Timothy Piazza fell, head first, down a flight of stairs after a binge drinking initiation event at the Beta Theta Pi frat house on Feb.2.

Frat brothers waited some 12 hours before calling the authorities, during which Timothy fell again, making his head injury worse.

Timothy suffered a fractured skull, internal bleeding and later succumbing to his injuries at the hospital.

A doctor confirmed to the parents that had he come to the hospital sooner he would have survived.

At least eighteen members of the fraternity are facing criminal charges, including felony aggravated assault and involuntary manslaughter.
