A collision accident in a Mira Mesa neighborhood kills a 59-year old woman and sent her 64-year old husband to a nearby hospital with a broken bone and multiple head injuries, according to the police. This happened around 6 a.m. when a driver ran a red light, and hit the couple in the Mira Mesa Boulevard and Marbury Avenue intersection. Unfortunately, the woman died immediately at the scene. The driver may be charged with manslaughter.
